To remain active and eligible for the scholarship students must:
- Maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
- Be in good standing in a STEM major of study.
- Maintain full-time status as a Missouri S&T student.
- Confirm choice of involvement each semester on the involvement form.
- All forms and events can be accessed through your Miner Link checklist.
1. Attend the Kummer Vanguard Scholars Spring Information Session.
2. 3. and 4. Register for and attend a Scholar Connection Track.

5. Personal goals (Complete either one of these forms).
- Spring goal setting
- Fall goal setting
6. Reflection on personal goals (Complete either one of these forms)..
- Spring mid-semester reflection
- Spring end of semester reflection
7. Point of contact for Involvement (Complete this form to indicate involvement chosen and information for verifying).
8. Verification of Co-Curricular Involvement (Item will be checked off by Kummer Student Programs once involvement has been verified).
9. and 10. Complete a reflection for each speaker session.
Speaker Series
Attend two Speaker Sessions
Select three speaker sessions listed, or find suitable lecture-based presentations outside the classroom. These listed sessions are hosted by Kummer Student Programs. Additional speaker sessions will be added to Miner Link over the course of the semester and will be advertised in the weekly email.
