Involvement Opportunities

Kummer Vanguard Scholars Peer Mentors will serve as role models for the incoming first year scholars, providing general knowledge of campus resources, campus life and facilitating activities to support student connections.

The Kummer Vanguard Scholars SSC will comprise current scholars students who are selected based upon the program involvement, major of study, campus involvement and desire to affect change. The SSC will provide insight, feedback and recommendations to the Director of Kummer Student Programs regarding the planning and implementation of the program, peer mentors and more.

Want to help new S&T students build great habits, make friends and adjust to campus life? During opening week, you will enjoy these benefits: Free meals, t-shirts, campus housing (must live on campus), volunteer hours, Kummer Vanguard Scholars involvement, gift cards and a chance to win a scholarship.
